The town of Trilj has received €90,000 in support from the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds for two development projects. The contracts were handed over in Dugopolje by the Minister of Regional Development and European Union Funds, Nataša Mikuš Žigman, as part of national programmes for the balanced development of local communities.
Each of the two projects received €45,000. Through the Sustainable Development of Local Communities Programme, the third phase of the development of the promenade along the left bank of the Cetina and Ruda rivers is being funded, with the town aiming to organise public space and make it safer and more accessible to residents and visitors.
The other €45,000 comes from the Programme for Support to Mountainous Areas, for the asphalt of unclassified roads. This project improves transport infrastructure and connectivity of settlements within the town.
From the Town of Trilj, it was stated that they will continue to utilise available national and European funding sources for projects that raise the quality of life in the town and surrounding settlements.
