The new fast ferry service Kvarner Bridge commenced operations on 24 June. It connects Kraljevica with Crikvenica, Senj, Baška, Lopar, Rab and Luni on Pag. The port of departure is Kraljevica, and the service will operate throughout the summer season until 30 August.

The seasonal catamaran is designed as a link between the Kvarner coast and its islands. It facilitates and speeds up travel for passengers, and is expected to relieve road traffic during the summer. Officials from the City of Kraljevica highlight that its status as the departure port provides the town with a direct maritime connection to well-known Kvarner destinations. This opens up new opportunities for day trips, sea arrivals of guests, and the strengthening of tourism.

Ahead of the start of sailing, a working meeting was held in Kraljevica. Representatives from Jadrolinija, tourist boards, and the cities and municipalities connected by the route participated. Activities regarding the commencement of operations, port organisation, and joint promotion were agreed upon.

The sailing schedule and ticket prices have been published on the Jadrolinija website.
