Final projects by students of the Đurđevac Vocational School have been ranked among the best in Croatia at the INA Group competition. The company has been issuing this call for final projects by vocational school students for many years, with the condition that the project topic relates to its business operations.
In the Computing category, Petar Domović, a student in the fourth year (4.b) of the computer technician programme, won first place and a prize of 600 euros. His classmate Šimun Mađerić took third place in the same category, receiving a prize of 400 euros, while Matej Furdić was awarded 150 euros for reaching the finals.
All the awarded projects were developed as part of the Advanced and Object-Oriented Programming subject, under the mentorship of senior teacher Tihomir Robotić.
"Once again, our computer technicians have shown that they are the pride of our school and a testament to the motivation inspired by interesting and high-quality teaching, as their diligent work has been recognised by one of the most significant companies for the Croatian economy," the school stated.
The success of the students was also reported by the City of Đurđevac in its local news, highlighting the result as confirmation of the quality of vocational education in the town.
