The town of Ludbreg is opening public calls for the award of non-repayable grants to pig and dairy cow breeders, with applications accepted from 10 July. The measures aim to ease part of the production costs for family farms and encourage the continuation of livestock production within the town area.
Measure 7 co-finances the breeding and keeping of sows and fattening pigs. The support amounts to €80 per sow and €50 per fattening pig, with a maximum of €650 available per beneficiary.
Measure 8 is intended for the breeding of dairy cows. The support amounts to €100 per head for a minimum of two and a maximum of five cows, meaning the maximum amount per beneficiary reaches €500.
Registered agricultural holdings that meet the conditions of the public call can apply for support. Information on application conditions, required documentation and forms has been published on the official website of the Town of Ludbreg.
Mayor Dubravko Bilić stated that the measures are part of continuous support for domestic agriculture and life in rural settlements. "We are aware that support alone cannot solve all the challenges our farmers face, but we want to help them continue production more easily. Every farm that continues breeding means preserving domestic production, work habits and life in our settlements," Bilić said.
