Fenerbahce has rejected Dinamo’s first offer for Dominik Livakovic, Turkish outlet Sporx reported. The Zagreb club offered three million euros in compensation and a further one million euros in bonuses, but the Istanbul club wants a higher sum.
Turkish media had previously reported that Fenerbahce expects around five million euros for the goalkeeper.
Livakovic spent the second half of last season on loan at Maksimir and wishes to remain at Dinamo. "His wish is clear, he wants to stay at Dinamo. However, if a million-euro offer arrives for Fener, and there are already many inquiries, then it will be up to the Turkish club," his manager Andy Bara said earlier, noting that the goalkeeper does not wish to continue his career in Turkey.
As Livakovic’s contract with Fenerbahce runs until the summer of 2028, Dinamo must negotiate his retention with the Turkish club. According to Sporx, in addition to Dinamo, Crystal Palace are monitoring the goalkeeper, having enquired about transfer terms as early as spring, along with Torino, so Fenerbahce is not yet accepting the Zagreb club’s bid. Following talks between Livakovic’s manager and Dinamo’s officials, the club may submit a new, higher offer.
Dinamo sold Livakovic to Fenerbahce in August 2023 for around seven million euros. In his first two seasons in Istanbul, he made 74 appearances, but after an injury he lost his place in the starting lineup: Jose Mourinho gave preference to Irfan Can Egribayat, and the arrival of Ederson further reduced his opportunities.
In September 2025, he went on loan to Girona, where, alongside Paul Gazzaniga, he did not make a single appearance, so the loan was terminated in January 2026 and the goalkeeper returned to Dinamo. He continued to play regularly until the end of the season and retained his status as the Croatian national team’s first-choice goalkeeper.
